Description
Heat-shrinkable butt splices DS-P are suitable for the production of permanent, weather-resistant and watertight connections. The shrink tubing is abrasion-resistant, seals, and protects against corrosion, moisture and contamination. The inner adhesive adheres to metals, rubber and plastics. DS-P provide strain relief, electrical insulation and protection against vibration in harsh environments.
With DS-P butt splices, cables and wires can be connected to one another or extended. The cables are inserted from both sides and pressed into their respective chambers. Then heat the heat-shrink tube over the entire length. The fusible inner adhesive should emerge on the sides, then optimal tightness is guaranteed. DS-P butt splices are mainly used in the motor vehicle industry, in the agricultural machinery sector and in the commercial vehicle sector.
