Description
Heat-shrinkable butt splices DS-N are suitable for creating permanent, weather-resistant and waterproof connections. The crystal-clear nylon shrink tubing is highly elastic, abrasion-resistant, seals and protects against corrosion, moisture and contamination. The inner adhesive adheres to metals, rubber and plastics. DS-N provide strain relief, electrical insulation and offer protection against vibration in harsh environments.
With DS-N butt splices, cables and wires can be connected to one another or extended. The cables are inserted from both sides and pressed into their respective chambers. Then heat the heat-shrink tube over the entire length. The fusible inner adhesive should emerge on the sides, then optimal tightness is guaranteed. DS-N butt splices are mainly used in the motor vehicle industry, in the agricultural machinery sector and in the commercial vehicle sector.
